Yuri A. Rutman. Chairman & CEO

 

The Company’s managing partner and President is a visionary entrepreneur who has seen his lifelong passion to make movies and break into Hollywood slowly manifest itself into a reality.  From his childhood days as an immigrant, he believed in the American dream through perseverance, certainty, focus, and overcoming any obstacles. After spending more than ten years cultivating industry relationships, Yuri Rutman raised money online from an Angel Investor in San Francisco whom he never physically met until after “Mr. Id was produced. On the strength of the initial business plan, the Investor wired money to finance the project a few weeks later.  Mr. Rutman established a strategic relationship with Creative Artists Agency to enlist their assistance in the casting of  “Mr. Id”.  United Talent Agency, International Creative Management, The William Morris Agency,  Endeavor, and Agency For The Performing Arts were also approached and involved with early casting choices. Subsequently, “Mr. Id” has been licensed and sold internationally and can also be downloaded online at Vuze.com.

 

Mr. Rutman has the unique position of being both creatively savvy with respect to film development, production, distribution, writing and other creative endeavors; and he is highly knowledgeable in international business operations including capital formation, private equity,  management, media distribution, securities, and investor exit strategies, which he is self-taught on. Further, he also wrote the screenplays for several of the Company’s films including “The Violinist” and “Layers”.

He has initiated casting discussions with several top motion picture agencies including Creative Artists Agency, United Talent, International Creative Management, Endeavor, management firms, and certain A-list talent.

 

Mr. Rutman has also worked for more than ten years as a commercial and residential real estate consultant for such companies as Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams where he specialized in the acquisition and disposition of apartment buildings, retail operations, and new residential units. He worked closely with various private equity investors in meeting and exceeding their short and long term investment strategies. He was part of real estate teams whose principals closed more than $1 billion dollars in transactions.

He has also been involved in numerous entrepreneurial ventures and start-up companies andis heading the development and launch of www.filmdemand.com, which will be a multi-lingual video on demand and social networking site.

 

He also acts as a strategic digital marketing, business development, and progressive management consultant to various companies (www.72equity.com) on digital marketing, SEO, business planning and strategy, product launches, lifestyle and wellness coaching, progressive management, and international media.

He attended Loyola University Of Chicago and the Board Of Governors Program at Northeastern Illinois University, and has also trained at various performance venues including Players Workshop Of Second City Of Chicago.



Victor Sagalovsky. President

Most recently, Mr. Sagalovsky directed the 3D film, “9 Mile”, which was shot in Jamaica

Mr. Sagalovsky freelances as a technical producer and 3D stereographer with 3ality Digital (http://www.3alitydigital.com/) where he is involved in developing the next generation of high-definition stereoscopic cinema cameras, subsequently training with the top digital cinema and stereoscopic experts from the American Society of Cinematographers, and Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Mr. Sagalovsky was a 3-D technical assistant on U2 3-D, (the first live-action digital 3-D film), a stereographer on Live with Regis and Kelly, (first live 3-D daytime television show), and stereographer on a number of other projects.  Victor also designed and manufactured a special lightweight 3-D camera system specifically designed for Ultralite 3-D filming. 

Mr. Sagalovsky  worked for 10 years as an eco-videographer and eco-tour consultant in Hawaii, while scripting and filming nature videos, including an award winning promotional video for the Kauai Visitors Bureau, a documentary for the Kilauea Wildlife Refuge, and a half-hour narrative film which showed at the Hawaii Film Festival. 

 

Mr. Sagalovsky holds bachelor degrees from San Francisco State University in Film Writing and The University of Hawaii in Multimedia Performing Arts.

Mr. Sagalovsky’s and Mr.Rutman’s professional and personal relationship extends before their childhood as both their parents have known each other for nearly 50 years since Kiev, Ukraine.

 

 

Richard P. White


As a long time Venture Capitalist and Angel Investor, Mr. White provided the initial seed capital for Noci Pictures, Inc., which lead to the production of “Mr. Id”.   He is currently the founder and CTO of www.engate.com.


Previously, he was the founder of SERVON, Inc., ONPREM Network Corporation, and a managing director and partner of Byzantine Ventures, a San Francisco Venture Capital Company.  He also founded Best Internet Communications which merged with Hiway Technologies which was eventually sold for $350 million.


At OnPrem, he was involved with the sale of the company to Copper Mountain Networks in a stock deal worth more than $125 million dollars.

Mr. White started his career in the military as a Submarine Nuclear Propulsion Plant Supervisor aboard the USS Greenling, USS Los Angeles, USS Omaha.  He was then an instructor at the Naval Submarine Training Center (Pacific). This was followed by a Top Secret Clearance as a Lieutenant and Surface War Officer onboard the USS Harold E Holt where he received a Navy Achievement Medal. He was then the military assistant to the Dean Of Instruction at the Naval Postgraduate School.


Mr. White holds an M.S. in Information Systems Management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.  He also holds a BS in Business from the University of Kansas with Highest Distinction where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and the National Honor Society.

Mr. White also attended the Surface Officer Warfare School at the U.S. Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado CA, the Navy Nuclear Prototype Training Unit at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, and the Naval Nuclear Power School at Bainbridge, MD.

Barry London


Barry London is the former Vice Chairman Of Paramount Pictures Corporation in both the production and distribution side. 

He spent almost 30 years at Paramount and held various positions, including President Of Worldwide Distribution And Marketing, and, President of the Motion Picture Group and made the studio #1 in gross revenues for more than a decade. He directly oversaw the production, distribution, and  marketing of billions of dollars of budgets and box office revenues and hits including "Top Gun" , “Beverly Hills Cop 1,2,3”, “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”, "Mission Impossible", “Golden Child”, “Naked Gun”, “Godfather Part 3”,  "Ghost", “Forrest Gump,” “Braveheart,” “Clear and Present Danger,” “The Firm,” “Wayne’s World,” “Fatal Attraction,” and “Crocodile Dundee” among others.  He was directly responsible for acquiring “Crocodile Dundee” for several million dollars which went on to gross nearly $330 million dollars worldwide.

Mr. London also served as the Chairman  & CEO of Destination Films, a motion picture finance, production, and theatrical distribution company.

 

Paul Westphal

Paul Westphal has served as a CFO and President in the manufacturing, distribution, media, and entertainment business for more than 30 years.  He is versed in highly leveraged situations with debt and equity instruments including preferred and convertible equity, IPO’s, subordinated and convertible instruments, and M&A.

In the last few years he served as CFO of Tatum, LLC, Santek Trailers, and Infodisk Technology, LTD , a Taiwanese-owned, public $100 million manufacturer and distributor of pre-recorded DVDs.  At Infodisk, he was involved with an integrated $100 million acquisition, implemented a $10 million ERP conversion, negotiated a $50 million revenue agreement, and negotiated and managed a $30 million credit facility.

Prior to Infodisk he was the CFO of  Destination Film Distribution where he negotiated distribution deals worth $1 billion, created and implemented policies and procedures for 100 employees, negotiated $25 million bank facility, solicited $100 million of new equity, and designed and implemented operating and financial systems.


Before Destination, he was the CFO of All American Communications, a $300 million dollar publicly traded media company where he led a $25 million initial offering of Class B Stock, issued $100 million Convertible Subordinated Debentures, negotiated and managed a $125 million bank credit facility, acquired and integrated $100 million international operations, and sold the company for $550 million – 2-1/2 times stock value at time of announcement.

Paul was also a Controller or Audit Manager at Polygram, KPMG, 20th Century FOX, and Cannon.

He is a CPA in the State Of California and has a B.S. in Business Adminsitration from the University Of Southern California.
