Yuri Rutman. Managing Partner & CEO
After attending Columbia College film school in Chicago, Loyola University, and Northeastern IL. University, Yuri Rutman spent more than ten years working in private equity & commercial real estate as a consultant for such companies as Coldwell Banker and Keller Williams (Raccuia Industries, Inc.) where he specialized in the acquisition and disposition of apartment buildings, retail operations, and new residential units. He worked closely with various private equity investors in meeting and exceeding their short and long term investment strategies. He was part of real estate teams whose principals closed more than $1 billion dollars in transactions.
Along his journey Mr. Rutman started Noci Pictures Entertainment where he raised money online from an Angel Investor in San Francisco whom he never physically met until after Noci's first film “Mr. Id was produced. "Mr. Id" is one of the most downloaded VOD independent film titles on the internet. On the strength of the initial business plan, the investor wired money to finance the project a few weeks later. Mr. Rutman established a strategic relationship with all major entertainment agencies, top tier law firms, banks, global distributors, talent, and international co-production partners. which was involved in financing and producing motion pictures, digital content, and 3D cinema.
Mr. Rutman also executive produced "9 Mile" the first 3D film to be shot in Jamaica which is a documentary on Bob Marley's cousin. Rutman is currently producing and co-financing with Mind's Eye Entertainment "Milwaukee", a $15 million 3D noir thriller which is being directed by David Ellis ("Snakes On A Plane", "Cellular", "The Final Destination"). Mr. Rutman is also writing and directing "The Violinist", which Noci is financing.
Mr. Rutman set up Noci Pictures to be a private equity marketplace opportunity for global ultra high net worth investors, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, pensions, endowments, fund of funds and other private equity investors to participate in an exclusive opportunity in a market-neutral, non-correlated asset class. Mr. Rutman is a leading expert on cross border film finance, co-productions, & IRS Section 181.
Victor "Love" Sagalovsky. Managing Partner & President.
Mr. Sagalovsky is one of top 3D Film Producers And Stereographers in the entertainment business. Previously worked for 3ality Digital (http://www.3alitydigital.com/) as a 3D stereographer and technical producer. Victor wrote & directed “9 Mile” a documentary about Bob Marley’s cousin which was the first film to be shot in Jamaica using 3D Technology (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy0-0_Nwss8).
Mr. Sagalovsky worked on projects with U2, SOBE, Dreamworks, Fox Sports, NFL, Nascar, Kauai. He has over 15 years experience in media & entertainment, startups, 3D technology.
Mr. Sagalovsky worked for 10 years as an eco-videographer and eco-tour consultant in Hawaii, while scripting and filming nature videos, including an award winning promotional video for the Kauai Visitors Bureau, a documentary for the Kilauea Wildlife Refuge, and a half-hour narrative film which showed at the Hawaii Film Festival.
Mr. Sagalovsky holds bachelor degrees from San Francisco State University in Film Writing and The University of Hawaii in Multimedia Performing Arts.
Mr. Sagalovsky is also producing the $15 million film "Milwaukee" that will be directed by David R. Ellis.
Richard P. White. VP.
As a long time Venture Capitalist and Angel Investor, Mr. White provided the initial seed capital for Noci Pictures, Inc., which lead to the production of “Mr. Id”. He is currently the founder and CTO of Engate (www.engate.com.)
Previously, he was the founder of SERVON, Inc., ONPREM Network Corporation, and a managing director and partner of Byzantine Ventures, a San Francisco Venture Capital Company. He also founded Best Internet Communications which merged with Hiway Technologies which was eventually sold for $350 million.
At OnPrem, he was involved with the sale of the company to Copper Mountain Networks in a stock deal worth more than $125 million dollars.
Mr. White started his career in the military as a Submarine Nuclear Propulsion Plant Supervisor aboard the USS Greenling, USS Los Angeles, USS Omaha. He was then an instructor at the Naval Submarine Training Center (Pacific). This was followed by a Top Secret Clearance as a Lieutenant and Surface War Officer onboard the USS Harold E Holt where he received a Navy Achievement Medal. He was then the military assistant to the Dean Of Instruction at the Naval Postgraduate School.
Mr. White holds an M.S. in Information Systems Managementfrom the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. He also holds a BS in Business from the University of Kansas with Highest Distinction where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and the National Honor Society.
Mr. White also attended the Surface Officer Warfare School at the U.S. Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado CA, the Navy Nuclear Prototype Training Unit at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, and the Naval Nuclear Power School at Bainbridge, MD.
